On Friday the 13th, just four days before St. Patrick's Day, in the desolate bogs of modern Ireland, a person vanishes without a trace, leaving behind an empty room and a chilling silence. But where the police see a cold case, folklore student Sarah sees a pattern—one written in the ink of a century-old manuscript.
